It’s been a busy week in Swiss-land. Not that I’m complaining. I like being busy but you know when you realise you’re nearly a quarter of the year in (eep) and you feel you haven’t done anything. By ‘anything’ I mean the important stuff like book holidays, plan birthdays, finish books I started this time last year, catch up with friends I haven’t seen in what feels like a decade (you know who you are, sorry!). Anyway, it’s like that. Back to today’s outfit.
I love brighter shades at this time of year and this grey and white pairing screams Spring to me. Fresh with a soft muted palette, warm enough for breezy days and cool for the odd sun soaked moment, no coat required.
I’m not one for florals or fuss. A simple minimal look with block colours or maybe one colour all over in different shades works best. I do like clean lines, good quality and anything with a structural edge. This top from Cos ticks all the boxes. The sleeves obviously make it. Amazing aren’t they. This is clothes architecture at its best. Let’s pause for a moment to reflect on the greatness that is Cos Stores. We love you.
It’s warming up in Zurich so I added boyfriend jeans to keep things loose and give a little ankle exposure. The grey textured mid-heels keep things casual. Perfect for windswept Zurich days. We get a lot of them, as you can see.
