I really hate saying goodbye, especially to my favourite jeans. You know the ones you wear to death with everything. It’s so depressing because they fit like a glove, they’re tight and loose in all the right places. Throwing them out because they can’t be patched or are literally hanging off you is the saddest thing.
Vintage and new at the same time…!
Thankfully the beautiful people at vintage denim company AndAgain get it. They go out of their way to find second hand, forgotten denim and bring it back to life with original contemporary design. Like this pocket skirt I’m wearing. It’s 1 of 9 made by AndAgain in this design using old denim. I love that it’s unique while at the same time promoting sustainable fashion, reusing fabric that was destined for landfill.
We’re such wasters honestly. If you had seen how much clothing I threw out when we moved home from Switzerland it would make you cry! I did recycle most of it in textile bins or donated it to charity shops but some pieces had to be chucked out. Heart-breaking.
You can shop AndAgain pieces online or in one of their pop up stores. Who knew you could do so much with denim?! Check out their website www.andagainco.com and you’ll see what I mean!
I’m still not quite ready to say goodbye to summer so when the sun shone this week in Dublin I got my legs out (covered in a tonne of fake tonne obvs!). I’m really into oversized blazers at the moment and this one from BCBG is on constant repeat. A logo tee and chunky cut-out boots complete the look. I’m not normally a fan of dupes but I got this pair of Balenciaga inspired boots to see if the style suited me. I absolutely LOVE these boots and wear them so much, all year. So I’m definitely thinking of getting the originals now!!
I hope you’re having a great week, thanks for dropping by! J xx
Thanks to AndAgain for gifting me the skirt
