I’ve had a MAJOR crush on this MumsHandmade chunky knit scarf since I spotted the ruby version on Aylin Koenig and the grey one on Lorna Andrews. I got mine in Royal Blue (obviously…) and honestly it’s the best thing I’ve bought all winter. The bobbles knitted into the ends, which are synonymous with the brand’s designs, are an extra special detail. I’ve been wearing mine untied, draped over both shoulders to show off the length. FYI it is really long so depending on your height you might want to wrap it round your neck at least one loop to keep it off the ground!
I don’t know about you but at this time of year I rely a lot on scarves to keep warm and update my look. Along with bags and shoes they’re one of my favourite accessories. This season they’re playing an even bigger role in our winter wardrobe than usual. You’ve probably noticed the extra long, extra wide, embellished versions on the High Street and online. Take inspiration from the bright checks at Burberry, cable knits embellished with feathers at Prada, blanket scarves at Celine and logo-led pieces at Balenciaga.

This chunky knit scarf from MumsHandmade is special but for me what’s even more impressive is the brand behind it. MumsHandmade was established in Greece in 2013, inspired by the generations of women who knit cosy beanies and cardigans in Winter. All products are made by hand to order by Greek mums who love to knit! Check out the full knitwear range on the MumsHandmade website here. I have my eye on a chunky cardigan next, they are divine!
By the way this post isn’t sponsored, I just really love this knit.
Thanks for dropping by! J xx
